Mid Summer's Night at the Sacramento Train Museume

Samantha, Landon, and Jeremiah checking out the telegram room at the museum.

Last summer after exploring the train museum with the kids we decided to get a family membership, one of the perks is Mid Summer's Night at the museum when the museum is closed to members only with lots of fun activities to do like a picture scavenger hunt, face painting, story telling, and much more.

Landon, Jeremiah, Samantha, and even Luke helped move this car across the museum.

I waited in line for over 30 mins so this cute little girl could get her face painted, it was well worth in.  The artist did a wonderful job.  Dear Samantha our sweet intuitive little girl quietly came to Jeremiah the next afternoon just before church and told her daddy that she thought she needed to was off her face before going to church.  It's rewarding as a parent to see her making such thoughtful choices all on her own.

Luke really enjoys these telephones, you pick them up and then a recording tells you different facts about the trains.
It was an enjoyable evening in old town together as a family and it didn't cost a thing which is always a plus.
