I never have questioned this kids ability to be independent and just be her friendly open self............BUT when she told me I didn't need to walk her up to class on the first day and make sure she found her way I was heart broken. I should have known she is my independent, fiery redhead but i was caught off guard non the less and had to cry a little in the car after she left. WHY do they have to grow up SO fast.
