The rocks at the base of these steps were completely covered by sand just 6 months ago.
We decided to revisit Shell Beach during low tide in winter which is supposed to be the best time to view the tide pools. Oh how the landscape of the beach changes in the winter months. We had a great time exploring with Julia and Micah. We didn’t find as many sea shells this time, I guess that’s the trade off. Summer on this beach lends to an abundance of shells and winter lends to an abundance of tide pool views.
