Last week while we were at the doctors office getting the kids check up they noticed that Samantha's vision was off and suggested that she have a full eye exam. Today we went and saw Dr. Steve who happens to be the father of one of Samantha's friends which made it a little easier for her. She had a full exam including getting her eyes dilated. It turns out the exam the doctors office did was wrong and her vision is not 20/70 but she will need low prescription reading glasses but probably only for a couple years. She thought her little disposable glasses were so cool. When she was trying on different frames to see which ones she likes best the technician asked her what she thought and Samantha replied " I look smart" so funny that even a 4 year old has that preconceived notion. All in all it went well and she didn't mind the exam and is very excited to get her glasses.
